Bo Drake, CEO

Experience meets market knowledge.

Bo is a Los Angeles commercial real estate industry expert with over 15 years of experience in the management and acquisition of value-add properties. At Drake Real Estate Group, Bo directs the firm’s holdings and management portfolio operations. Bo has a track record of success in both home run acquisitions and leading a team in maximizing the financial performance of his clients’ assets. 

Prior to founding Drake REG, Bo held high-profile positions including Vice President of Acquisitions and Asset Management at prestigious Los Angeles development and investment firm, California Landmark Group. Bo was responsible for sourcing opportunistic multifamily assets and land development opportunities across the western United States. During Bo's tenure, the company acquired dozens of assets, all with above market returns. In addition to these acquisitions, Bo oversaw and optimized the firm's existing portfolio of more than 2,000 units valued in excess of $750 million.

Bo's previous experience includes 8 years as an investment sales broker and 3 years as head of asset management for a private equity real estate firm. During Bo's tenure in investment sales, he participated in more than 100 transactions, valued in excess of $500 million. While head of asset management, Bo oversaw a portfolio of more than 6,000 units valued in excess of $1.6 billion.

Katie Drake, COO

Structure, service and strategy.

Katie is a seasoned marketer and business strategist with a practiced design eye. At Drake Real Estate Group, Katie is responsible for firm and client marketing campaigns, client relations and design. Katie’s diverse background with both Fortune 500 and multifamily businesses ensures that Drake REG clients, partners and tenants are receiving premium service while they achieve their goals.

Katie began her career in marketing at a boutique ad agency in the heart of Hollywood. She continued to work as a content creator, copywriter and strategist for top-tier companies including The Walt Disney Co. and NBCUniversal. She began contributing in a part-time capacity growing the portfolio, executing value-add design projects and handling leasing operations, joining the Drake REG team full-time in 2016.
